1. What character of this book would you like and would you not like to be your friend. why?

I think I would like "Rosa to be my friend because I could talk to her and let her know what her "uncle" is doing to her. I would also like "Rosa" to be my friend because she seem to be really nice and I would like to hope her find her parents. I would not like "Rosa's" uncle to be my friend because all he cares is about money and he does not seem to care about other people, he only cares about him and he is a lier. he lie to "Rosa" about been her uncle and he also told her that he try to help her find her parents.

2. If you could change something about the book what would it be. why?

I think I would like the author to change the fact that no one knows about "Rosas" mom I think that the book would be a little more interesting if the author adds to the book a story about "Rosas" parents. I think the author should tell people what happen to "rosas" family.

3. What is confusing about these book so far?

I think is a little confusing how the uncle lies to people about been blind and how he wants to be rich so much.

1. what was your favorite part of the book. why?

My favorite part of the book was when their parents came back to live with Francisco and his brother because I could really image Francisco's and his brother feelings when they saa their parents. Even do the dad didn't really seem as happy as the rest of the family did.

1. How do u think Francisco feels about going to high school?

I think boss of Main Street School feels like Francisco's brother is a good person and I also think he feels like Francisco's brother is responsible and  he understands why he missed some days.

What does this book make you wonder about? Why?

These book makes me wonder if Roberto and  Francisco are gone be able to send money to their parents because he said he was gone send her money every month or week and now that some one got into there house and got the money that Roberto had save to send to his parents and he got faired from his job even do that guy let him work for him again I  am not sure if they are gone be able to send it on time.

It also makes me wonder if Roberto's parents are gone think that Roberto is not working or he got faired and he can't find a new job and that would be bad for Roberto and his brother because they would not be able to buy food and other stuff so I think their  parents may get worried but at the same time I don't think they would, because they might realize what happen and wait a little more until they get the more.

Do you think Roberto and his brother are gone miss there family so much that they decided to go back and live with them?

I think they would miss there family a lot but I don't think they would go to   Tlaquepaque, to lived with there family because Francisco sounds like he really wants to attend school no matter what, and Roberto does not really seem, like he wants to get back with his dad, mom, brothers and his sister, He seems to like to work and hope his family by sending them money.

What in the book upsets you or bothers you? Why?

What most bothers me in this book so far is how "Rosa's uncle" only wants her because he wants her to find him a treasure. I also dislike how he asked her for the money that the guy gave her at church because he said it was for her and she sound like she really wanted to keep it . I also think it was wrong for her uncle to leave her behind just because she didn't give him the money. "Rosas's uncle" bothers me a lot because he acts really weird and I think he has mental problems.

What other character besides the main character is important on the book? why?

I think Rosas's uncle is important in the book because with out him she would't have a place to sleep or she would't have to many options for food. She would have to beg a lot more and live in the streets. Her uncle is the only person she knows and I don't think she would like to live all by her self.

what has surprise you in the book? why?

It really surprises me how "Rosa" dosen't realize the mistake that her "uncle" is doing to her. Even do he is not really her uncle I think he should stop thinking about money and he should at least try to hope "rosa" find her parents and stop lying to her.

1) what advice would you give to a particular character. why?

Since Melinda does not have anyone to talk to because her friends are acting weird by not talking to her for no reason I think Melinda should try new friends and get over her old friends and may try to talk to her friends and see what she did wrong or why are not talking to her.

I think I would like to be Melinda's friends because she seem really friendly to me and I think she could understand me and I could feel good when I talk to her about my personal life or other stuff.

When  I first read the Melinda's friends were not talking to her even her " best friend" I feel like I would pretty much be really mad at my friends for not wanting to talk to me for no reason and I also keep wondering why were they not talking to her.

These book reminds me of one of my friends who meat someone else and decided not to talk to one of my friends just because her new friend does not like her. I think is stupid that my friend decided not to talk to my other friend just because she meat on other friend. They were like best friends until the other person had to came I think is stupid that my friend made that decision because it can't really hurt someones feelings when your best friend replaces you.

Project Reflection

Group name: Global Warnings  Group members: Kimberly, Kezia, Luis, Gabe, Justin and Ramon. Topic: Global Warming and Pollution.

The purpose of this project was to create a formal website with information where  other kids could learn from. To learn about a topic that we the group had chose for example we decided to talk about Global Warming.

In order to learn about Global warming and create a formal website where other kids could learn from we had to research on Global warming, Pollution and some animals that were affected by pollution. My group and I decided to research on Seals, Penguins, Sea Turtles and Coral Reef's. We all had a topic to research on for example I had Seals so I had to research on Seals and different types of seals. We had to make all the information we found in other websites in our own words and put the links from where we got our information in our website. We were also require to create our own website with all the information we had learned and create our own pictures, videos or games.

I learned about Seals and how they are affected by pollution. I learn about Harbor Seals, Neopard Elephant Seals, How Seals are affected by pollution, what we can do to hope them, how to create a formal website and about leopard seals.

In these project i learned how to pharagrase information, how to used dream weaver better and how to create a frame.

Reflection 

I enjoy this project because It was really interesting learning how our world is affected by pollution and about different types of Seals, But even do I really like these project I think I could have done a lot better because I was not focused most of the time and I didn't used my time how Ms I wanted me to.

next time I think I would try to find a lot more information on my topic and used my time and not waste it by talking to my friends or working on stuff that was not necessary in the website.

These Book is about a 10 year old named Opal. She had just move with her dad the preacher to Naomi, Florida. when her dad send her to the grocery store to buy food she finds a homeless dog she decides to keep him and take care of him. they both make new friends for example Otosis the guy who runs the pet store they became friends while Opal went to get Winn Dixie a necklace and she dint had anought money so she starts working for him to be able to buy Winn Dixie hes necklace. Miss Fanny the librarian who offers Opal and Winn Dixie "litmus Lozenges" a type of candy that her grandfather invented and she tells opal stories. and Gloria Dump, the lady who a lot of people think she is a witch because of her back Jard which it looks like a jungle and she hangs bottles on trees. they represent all the bad decisions or bad stuff she has done in her life she also has a problem with her eyes, she can't see really well but besides that she is really nice to Opal and Winn Dixie.

Winn Dixie hopes Opal with her mother that has abounded her and hes dad. they both have similar stuff that had happen in their pass.  

I like these book a lot because it made me laugh and I like how the author express friendship between a dog and a 10 year old.

1 . These book is based on a a kid name Moose Flanagan who has a sister named Natalie  who is autism and he as to take care of her while his dad is working and his mom is teaching kids how to play the piano.

 

2 . These hole story started when Moose and his family moved to Alcatraz because hes dad found a new job there. 

3 . Moose Flanagan does not like living in Alcatraz because he missed his friends on his old neighborhood but at the end he ends up with a lot of adventures that he would never forget and he also ends up learning a lot of stuff about life.

1. I am not sure if the Reporter will put Phil's story in the paper because maybe she would go and talk to the teacher or the principal about it and them she would understand better that a rule is a rule at there school and she would may think that it was Phil's fall.

2. I don't think Ms. Narwit  unfair because if the school tells her what the students are not allow to do and what the rules are she is doing the right thing about telling him to stop. and she also things that Phil is a nice person and she feels sorry because he got kick out of school.  

so on my opinion I think she is a nice teacher.

so far From The Bamboo Grove Final Post

1. I think the ending was a happy ending just like almost every book but even do I like the ending Iwanted the book to say how waas there life before hideyo fin d yoko and Ko. I wanted to know if they went back to there house in korea and Yoko got to go to school and Ko to high school.


I fealt really happy for Yoko and Ko to fing there honorable brother againg but I also felt bad because there dad return from a prison camp after SIX YEARS LATER. when she was about eighteen years old. and because there mother died and AND they loost there beatiful house.

2. I think the kawashima family are still keepin there tradition because the fact that they loost all there belongies and there home they don't want to loose there traditons as a family.

and even do Ko and Yoko are not with there family I think they still want to keep all there family traditions and I think that hope them to remember family times and it makes them a little by sad because is a family tradition and they are not with there family but I think it is may by hope in them to think more and more that there honarable brother and dad are still alive.

3. In So Far From The Bamboo Grove I think I respect and admire Ko the most because she trues really hard to do what her mom would had wanted her to do after she died, because she is really responsible and do as much as she can to have at least one or two meals a day and she cares about her honarable sister Yoko alot and she is also really willing to do everything for her and cares if people at her school do to her like when they laugh when she gets out the paper from the trash can.

4. I learn that people in Korean or Japan don't cares about others they only care about there selfs. and i also learn that they have a really hard heart because if they had to killed someone they would just do it right away and that some people only care about people there own race for example: when some means were rapping girls wich it is really gross and sad .

5. I learn that I should never make fun of someone just because they dress alot different them my and are really poor or don't have money to by at least a pair of shoes or there school materials at least a notebook and still of my laughin of them because they were picking up the trash from the floor or the trash i could hope them and give them some of mine. because people in my class were being stupid and trough plain withe paper away in still of giving it to someone that needs it or keep it and used it better them for trough in into peoples head or something .

1.  I think Yoko wants to help Mr. Naido because he understand her and  it seems to my like Mr. Naido had the same experience before and he knows the way she feels about the girls at school making fun of her about the way she looks.

2. I don't think Yoko likes the idea of Ko about the money the they have left from there mother, but after Yoko see how much ko is working to help her and feed her she understand everything alot better or at least most of it, better and she appreciates what KO is doing for her and star working for what she wants like selling little clothes and earning her own money to by a new pair of shoes.

3. do you think Mr Naido had the experience about people being mean to him when he was little by the way he is hope in Yoko. (Even do that is not the only reason he is hope in her.)

So Far Fom The Bamboo Po # 3

1 . ko, yoko and their mother decided to leave the train station because there are alot scary stuff going on like. Japanese girls are getting reape by old means and in Japan they can have somewhere to live until they get there own house and Yoko can attend school and Ko and there mother can get a job and they can may by meet Hideo againg.

2. If I was one of them or with them I think I would have decide ton leave the train station too because I would not want to see means reaping girls and I think I would by really scare and i would by thinking what would happen if they found out that I am a girl and I think if they go to japan they would by alot safer.

I  think the hideo is very strong, he cares about his family and other people,he is also very smart, he is  the leader of the family when hes father is not around he really cares about her ko and yoko as hes sisters.

I would take extra clothes, food and water, 2 books, a blanket, my ipod something to wash my face and may by a photo album and does all because I know i would not by able to walk miles and miles with a heavy backpack.

I think the most choking part is when they trough the dead baby out of the window in front of the baby's mom.

Reading Respond ( twilight)

1.) so far in twilight from what I have read is about these girl  

Bella that move to her dads house in Forks Washinghton. after living with her mom she stars 

a new school and almost a new life because alot stuff are different for her after she moved with her dad sha has to get ustod a new wheather, friends and rules. and  her dad seem to really loved her. and the reason why I think these is because he give her a new car after she was gone buy it with her own money and he tells her that he just want her to by happy and also because of that way he recived her when she moved to live with him and because of that way he treats her.

2.) a sentence in these book that really got my attention is when Bellas mom emails about three times and bella dosent respond because she was t school and she says ( why haven't you email me yet? what are you waiting for?)

because it shows how much her mom loves her and really wants her back.

1. Yoko seems to really love her family and she seem to really like her mother. she also seem to really care about her family and other people. she doesn't like to by bossed around by her sister KO she is a little lazy and gets tired alot. and sometimes she is a little selfish for example when she didn't waned the lady on the train to used her blanket.


2. Yoko and KO are good sisters. Yoko calls Ko bossy but she doesn't releazi the she is only bossy sometimes because she wants her to by safe which i think that is really Nice from KO.


3. I think the kawashima family is really patient about being in a train with a bunch of sick people and they realize that they are really lucky for being in that train even do they are not sick .

- This book is about a girl whos dream is to by 30. She wants to by part of the six most popular girls at her school. and one mornig she wakes up with a complety different life. she is living in an awesome apparment with a big closet that is filled with awesome clothes and she is working for one of her favorite magazine when she was thirdteen and she has celebrity friends.

but the same mornig when she gets up and she is thirdteen she is totally confused about all that stuff that are going on. and even do she is thirty she is only in the outside because in that inside she is the same 13 year old teenager and while she is thirty she had made bad decions wich she needs to change them into right decisons and that only way she can do that is by finding her best friend matt because he is that only person that knows what to do but by the time she finds him is grown up too and he dosen't seem to by that same person she knew when she was a teenager.

1. I think this quote means not to fallow people when they are doing something that it is rong even if they are your friends because you would have to pay some consecuenses with them and it is better not to follow people and follow what it is right to do.
